Welcome Companies!
This is your 4 point Action Plan!

It’s time to empower EVERYONE
We all know business has the potential to be a force for good. A potential that is, arguably, unrivalled. The values, ethics, culture and leadership found in America’s corporate landscape have the power to reach far beyond the workplace. They can impact and influence the way people live their lives on a daily basis. Not just in the US, but throughout the world. It’s a great power that, as they say, comes with great responsibility.

The time for change is now
We’re here to inspire and support businesses and brands in their efforts to create and cultivate environments and experiences where marginalized groups feel valued. To empower leaders to recognize and understand the role they play and the contribution they can make when it comes to building a more diverse and equitable society. We’re also here to shine a positive spotlight on those that are already doing it. To celebrate those that take the initiative to drive real change and lead the way for others to follow. Because the time for lasting change is now! Newsfeeds are all too often dominated by stories that emphasize the divisions in society and the impact this has in reinforcing marginalization. It creates fear. It spreads hate. It’s time for a future that works better for everyone. And that future has to start today.

Your four-point plan of action for positive change
We challenge businesses to set ambitious diversity goals, to seek step changes, to be bold. We know it’s not always easy. That’s why we’re here to support you. Our four-point action plan is a framework for change that builds on various best-in-class strategies, used by companies in the PTTOW! community. Designed with flexibility in mind, every company can get started no matter where they’re at. And it goes a little something like this…

Why is diversity & inclusion in the workplace important?

*Research has show many benefits of a diverse and inclusive workplace:

Inclusion in the workplace is one of the most important keys to retention.

When employees don’t feel that their ideas, presence or contributions are truly valued or taken seriously by their organization, they will eventually leave.

Research carried out by ‘Great Place To Work’ on company culture shows that when employees trust that they, and their colleagues, will be treated fairly regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation or age, they are.

Having an inclusive workplace culture will not only help you attract a diverse set of talent but also help you retain the diverse talent you attracted in the first place.

When employees in a high-trust culture experience a caring workplace, they are 44 percent more likely to work for a company with above-average revenue growth.
